URI Gardening With The Masters Tour 2017

The University of Rhode Island Master Gardner Program has a two day biennial tour.  The 2017 edition comprised 26 beautiful gardens, 14 of which were on the tour for the first time.  Each garden is unique.  Some are designed to attract insects as pollinators for color while others are called kitchen gardens because they grow vegetables.

The following gardens are grown by certified URI Master Gardener volunteers.  A fourteen week course must first be completed with the URI Cooperative Extension as well as serving volunteer internships.  The mission is to pass their knowledge on to visitors to help local residents choose environmentally friendly and sound gardening practices.

Enjoy the view!
